skill, not luck
you control
the outcome.
steppix is a skill-based fitness contest. you finish by walking. that's the whole mechanism.
is steppix a betting app? no.
a contest of chance pays out based on luck. a steppix challenge pays out based on something you do: walk your goal, every day. nobody is matched against a house, and there are no odds to beat.
your effort decides the outcome
whether you finish depends on one thing: whether you hit your step goal every day. nothing is drawn, dealt, spun or shuffled. if you walk, you finish.
every finisher wins the same share
there is no jackpot and no ranking among finishers. everyone who makes it to the end gets their entry back plus the same equal share.
no odds, no random draws
steppix never decides who wins and nothing about a result is random. the server only counts the steps apple health recorded.
steppix never takes the other side
steppix isn't an opponent and never pays out of its own pocket against you. prizes come only from the entries in the pool. steppix earns the service fee (10% + $0.30). nothing comes out of the prize pool, and it can't influence who finishes.
how we make money
one fee per entry.
- a service fee of 10% + $0.30 per entry
- added on top at checkout and shown before you pay. it never comes out of the prize pool.
- nothing from the prize pool
- the whole pool goes to finishers. steppix doesn't earn more when people miss a day.
- steppix+ (optional)
- a subscription for more active challenges and extras. it never changes fees, prize pools or payouts.
cash-outs by bank transfer are free; faster methods, when offered, show their fee before you confirm. all fees in the official rules
the honest part.
skill-based doesn't mean risk-free. if you miss a day, your entry goes to the people who finished. payout estimates in the app are estimates, not promises. walk for your health first, and only enter what you're fine leaving behind.
your steps.
your cut.
join a challenge, hit your goal every day, and split the pool with everyone who finishes.
