what counts as a qualified friend?
a new player who signs up through your invite link or enters your code during sign-up, then completes their first paid entry. a friend can only be linked to one inviter, once, during sign-up.
is the credit cash?
no. it's entry credit: it pays for challenge entries (not the service fee) and can't be cashed out directly. if you win a challenge you entered with credit, the credit part comes back as credit and your winnings are cash.
is there a limit?
you earn $10 for every 3 qualified friends, while the program runs. the program has a total budget; once it's used up, or if we end the program, no new credit is issued. credit you already earned stays yours.
what doesn’t count?
inviting yourself, duplicate or shared accounts, and accounts that break the terms. credit earned that way is removed, and the accounts can be closed.
my friend doesn’t have the app yet. will the invite still work?
yes. on the invite page, tap “get steppix”: it copies the invite so they can paste it into the “got an invite?” box when they sign up. they can also type your code there.

new players also get $5 of entry credit after their first paid entry of $20 or more, while the program runs.
